Jann, this is a beautiful arch! You showcased it with just the right vintage color! Very romantic! Thank you very much for sharing the original image through Carol Anne's Boutique - I found some nice things there!

Thanks also for visiting my blog and your leaving kind comments. You asked if my work was digital - Before December I only made physical cards with the usual tools and products. But then I found Art Creations Friday and this whole world of "art blogging" came to my attention and I was intrigued with digital. My 21 year old daughter is amazing wtih Photoshop so she gave me a couple of lessons to give me the basic understanding of layers and I was off on a new adventure! I use Elements 6 on a PC and my last several pieces posted on my blog are purely digital. I need to get back to my cutting and pasting but my craft area looks so clean I hate to disturb it. That is the one advantage of digital - no mess! But I do love both!

P.S. Two weeks ago I was out in your fair city - my father lives an hour north of Sacramento in Oroville. I so envy your weather and the gorgeous flowers of Spring! Everything was dripping with Wisteria and then I had to come home to Colorado Springs where we had a snowstorm that dumped 3 feet of snow! I hate "Springtime in the Rockies"!

Jann, What a lovely arch! the background and the mix of colors frame your vintage lady perfectly. I especially like the double arch and the illusion she is popping out of the frame! Great Job,Jann!
