I thought I'd post a little clip from the old "Partridge Family" series--this one is from 1970, when Farrah was 23 years old. This was several years before she became famous, starring in Charlie's Angels. Poor Farrah Fawcett's death was wildly eclipsed by that of Michael Jackson; I think many of us women wanted to be her, or at least have her hair, back in the 70s. She seemed to be a such a sweet person, and in her documentary of her battle with cancer, Farrah's Story, she showed that she was facing her disease with such courage and grace. God Bless You, Farrah--you are a true angel now.

Last Monday's theme for the week over at TMTA was "Summer Solstice" and I finally had a few moments to create an ATC--this week has been so crazy for me, and I probably won't get to post much in the next couple of weeks. My sister and brother-in-law will arrive tonight from Idaho, and my oldest son and his children will be here on Sunday from Oregon--he's leaving his 3 kids here with us for almost 2 weeks--I'm soooo excited, as I don't see those grandchildren as often as the others. So forgive me for being flaky with my blog--I have so much art inside of me just waiting to come out, but it may be awhile before I have time create anything. I'll still post the Sunday Funnies . . . Have a great weekend, everyone! PS--The image I used is from Paper Whimsy, and although the ATC looks like it isn't cut straight, it's just an illusion because it's a little bent in the upper right-hand corner--I'm too busy right now to take a new photo of it!

My entry for TMTA's weekly challenge is late, but I wanted to post it, anyway. The first photo didn't show the glitter, and the second one had some glare, so I'm just going to put both of them on here! Right now I'm taking care of my 3 year-old grandson, Tyler, and my 4 year-old granddaughter, Gabby--they are cousins, and, alone, are just angels--but put them together, and the wild mischief begins! So I'm off to the park with them, and I will have to finish my other art projects later!

American fashion designers of the 1930s predict what women and men will be wearing in the year 2000. If you want a good laugh this morning, you should see this!

This is a little birthday card I made for my sweet mom, who is turning 80 in a few days. I picked her up at the airport yesterday, and she is visiting with me and my family until my sisters fly in tomorrow so we can surprise her with a trip to San Francisco this weekend! We have several things planned for her; it's always been my mom's favorite city since we lived there for awhile back in 1961. The beautiful image I used for the card is from Outsider Artists. I will be back blogging on Sunday . . . have a wonderful week and weekend, everyone!
