TMTA Weekly Challenge - "Rooftops of Our World"

I just finished this late last night for the TMTA challenge--late in the week, I know, but with guests, 2 birthdays and babysitting grandchildren (which is sooooo much fun, by the way!), there wasn't much time this week for art. This was a tough challenge--I thought of my trip to San Francisco this time last year, and remembered that I'd taken some photos of the city from the top of Coit Tower. When I looked through my pictures, I found this photo of the spires of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the surrounding rooftops. The city of San Francisco holds a very special place in my heart. I first altered the photo in Photoshop to make it look like a drawing, and then made my little ATC--certainly not one of my best, but we all have those moments, don't we, when we aren't happy with our finished product . . . the original photo appears below my ATC.

I'd love to know what filter you used or other techniques to create this stunning piece of art. I don't have Photoshop but I have the "little brother" - Photoshop Elements and wondered if I could do something similar with some of my own photos.
Thanks!

Susan
