Sorry I've been away for so long . . .

Things got crazy for me around Easter . . . we had a nice big family brunch on Easter, my birthday was a few days later, and the day after my birthday, my daughter got sick and I had to take her to the ER--she ended up being in the hospital for 12 days and just was released last night to go home.  Life, needless to say, changed drastically for me the past 2 weeks--I don't think I've ever been more fraught with worry, stressed out, or so exhausted in my life!  Blessedly, our prayers were answered, God sent us help, and the good news is that she's on the mend; I actually was able to be home this afternoon, and I am looking forward to getting back to the blogging world and my art supplies!  Can't wait to catch up with all of you!
