Here's my tag for the "Vintage" theme on the
Tag Tuesday challenge blog. I found a wonderful, fun technique on the
Splitcoast Stampers website for the background on my tag. I took pink chalk ink and rubbed it on the surface of one side of an embossing folder, and then placed my tag in the folder and ran it through my Big Shot machine.
Here is a great video by Diana Gibbs, showing how it's done. (It shows up better in person than in the photo--shouldn't have chosen a dark pink background when I took the picture!) My buttons and pink seam binding and the little printed message are all truly vintage, and the rest is just "faux" vintage!
