TGIF Challenge - Minimalist

This week, TGIF is using a "minimalist" theme, which includes ATCs, inchies, twinchies, etc. This is my first attempt at a twinchie--not too good, but I will get better. I have a lot of trouble using "Stickles" even though I love that glitter and like to use it--I just can't seem to get a thin line going with it. I know some people who just use it so beautifully in their artwork, but I haven't been able to get the hang of it yet. If anyone has any advice for me on using Stickles, it would be very much appreciated! The image I used in this little piece is from Paper Whimsy.

Hi

This is such a sweet twinchie.... (I love the cake eating clip by the way)

I love stickles but I am a bit of a blobber! I did try straight lines and found that when you are holding the bottle upside down if you squeeze the stickles gently so it moves down to the end of the nozzle, then when there, squeeze (blob) out the first bit (as waste) then straight after go for you line...... does that make any sense? Let me know if it works for you!

Really lovely! Great images and colours - I like Stickles too but they can be so frustrating i find that no two bottles are ever the same some flow easily then the next one is a real struggle and because they are quite gloopy it IS difficult to get a line anyway.

It's a great twinchie, Jann!
(I use stickles very cautiously. I find I'm often unhappy with the results when I go nuts:)

I'm one of those who really love stickles (but no other brand of glitter glue). I sometimes get surprise blobs when I use it too. I think your twinchie looks great. Not too much stickles; the line is thin enough, I think. Beautiful image.
