The theme over at Gothic Arches is "Home Sweet Home" and I am so glad to finally have had a little time to put something together! I would have liked to have done something more with my arch, but have too many obligations today. The little fairies are freebies from the generous, sweet Debra at Land of Nod Studio. I haven't blogged much lately because we've had so much going on in our family. I hope to post about it all soon. Meanwhile, hop on over here to see all the beautiful arches this week!
A dear blogging friend, Lydia, of "Beauty Will Surely Save the World, just lost her beloved husband yesterday. If you have time, please stop by Lydia's blog to leave an encouraging word, or offer up a little prayer for their family. To live in hearts we leave behind Is not to die. ~Thomas Campbell, "Hallowed Ground"
I can't believe I haven't posted in a week--here are my two youngest granddaughters, Lily and Layla, with their daddy, my son, Joe--Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
To all the beautiful, wonderful, kind, sweet mothers and grandmothers~and especially to my own precious mother, Happy Mother's Day~I hope you all have a lovely day!
I feel bad that I haven't been able to post much lately; family situations are taking up a lot of my time, but I hope to get back to my art soon! Meanwhile, here are a few photos of the beautiful roses that have been blooming in my backyard!
